Privacy
Your date never leaves your browser
Pregnancy data is about as sensitive as personal data gets. This site is built so that almost none of it exists on our side in the first place.
Stored on your device, sent nowhere
Your due date, the ticks on the hospital bag and gear checklists, and every contraction you time are kept in your own browser using local storage. They are not transmitted to us, they are not in a database, and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them permanently, and the due date calculator has a "forget my date" button that does the same thing on its own.
Sent to us only if you type it
The email signup forms. If you enter an email address and submit one, we receive that address, optionally a first name, and, so the emails can be timed correctly, the due date and week already stored in your browser. Nothing else. Every unsubscribe link works on the first click.
Submissions are handled by our own infrastructure rather than a third party form service, and the data is not sold, rented or shared with advertisers or data brokers. Ever, and not as a matter of current policy but as a matter of not being in that business.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no Facebook tag, no session tracking and no cross site identifier. Local storage is used as described above and is not a cookie: it is not sent with requests and it is not readable by anyone else.
What loads from elsewhere
Nothing. Every file this site needs is served from this domain, including the typefaces, which are self hosted rather than loaded from Google Fonts, and the 3D library used on the home page. There are no third party scripts, no third party stylesheets and no third party fonts, so no other company learns that you visited.
Outbound links
Links to shops leave this site and land on theirs, where their own privacy policy applies. If an affiliate relationship is active, the retailer may know the visit came from here. That is set out on the disclosure page.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.
Your rights
If you have given us an email address you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do it. There is no account to close and no retention argument to have. Write to [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the change will be described here rather than buried in a version number.
